A small hotel, bar and restaurant down a busy street, built around a tucked-away courtyard that regulars tend to keep to themselves.

Sessions sit outdoors under open sky or  inside a dining room, with low-key privacy that suits a small group who’d rather not be found by the whole street.

The menu runs from starters through to premium mains, and the bar covers everything from mocktails to a full spirits list.

Sip and Paint .NG Hosts  Canvas painting, candle making, tote bag painting, pottery, drip a bear and raffia painting in the courtyard, paired with three food and drink tiers, Breezy (starters and soft drinks), Bamboo (mocktails, cocktails or beer with mains) and Solos (full bar through to shots with premium mains like lamb chops and T-bone).

Alali

Step off Musa Yar’Adua Street and into a full creative studio built entirely around making things.

Screeded white walls hold large modern African-style paintings, on display and genuinely for sale, and the light shifts through the day, bright white in the morning, warm lamplight by evening, so no two sessions feel quite the same.

Beyond the easel, Alali is also home to Alali Gallery, Silent Book Club VI and Chess Hour, so there’s always something happening in the building even outside a painting session.

Guests come here for the everyday walk-in as much as the big private moment, a bridal shower, a birthday, an anniversary, a proposal, a corporate afternoon that turns into something people actually talk about after.

Choco’s Bistro Oduduwa Way

If you live on the mainland or you’re already staying at Bedrock Residencies, Choco’s Bistro Oduduwa is closer than you think.

Nestled right by the poolside, it offers the feel of an intimate backyard elevated  into a dining and social destination.

Sip and Paint .NG sessions run outside, by the pool, through 6pm while the day light is still bright. It’s an effortless addition to any day of the week and an easy one to bring a book, a friend, or a colleague to. The menu has both global and local flavors, chicken biryani, stir fry Singapore noodles, grilled catfish prepared Nigerian style, alongside a full breakfast menu and a cocktail list: Long Island, Piña Colada, Strawberry Margarita, Mojito, Whiskey Sour, Old Fashioned.
